Sisi Aisha Johnson is “a storyteller for a storyteller’s story”. From folksy to urban, her warm blend of bite and sweetness wrapped in an accessible narration style sets the right tone in such award winning books as FRANCIE and FEATHERS, and notable books like ROMIETTE & JULIO, for which she received the Audiofile Earphones Award, and DR. MR. PRESIDENT: LETTERS FROM A SLAVE GIRL, for which she was selected to be an Audie Award finalist. A long time resident of New York City, she now resides in Los Angeles and happily travels between the two amazing metropolises.

Simone Cook hails from Detroit, MI. Following graduation from Howard University, Simone studied at the British American Drama Academy before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. Simone has starred in several feature length and short films, as well as several national commercial campaigns. Along with being a trained classical violinist, Simone is a budding writer. She has written and performed sketch comedy and several one act plays. This past spring, Simone debuted “Love in War” with her theatre company, The White Buffalo, opposite actor Keith Robinson.

Kim Staunton has extensive theater, film and television credits. She has performed on and off Broadway, as well as fifteen regional theaters across the country. Film credits include First Sunday, Changing Lanes, Heat, Dragonfly and Bark. On television, she has guest starred on Army Wives, Eleventh Hour, The Nine, Bones, Law and Order, New York Undercover, Strong Medicine, and Judging Amy. She is a graduate of The Juilliard School.

Adenrele Ojo has performed in such plays as: Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (nominated Ovation Award for Featured Actress) and The Ballad of Emmett Till, (won the 2010 Ovation & Drama Critics Circle Awards for Best Ensemble). Ojo's many audio books including Katie Couric’s, The Best Advice I Ever Got and some of her favorites, Someone Knows My Name by Lawrence Hill, 32 Candles by Ernessa T. Carter, Weapons of Mass Seduction by Lori Bryant-Woolridge, The Healing by Jonathan Odell & Standing Tall by C. Vivian Stringer, which she received an Earphones Award.

Cherise Boothe's body of work includes theatre, film, TV, audio books and commercials, both on camera and voice over. She received her MFA in Acting at New York University. Theatre being her first love, she often frequents the stage and was recently seen performing as one of the original cast members, in the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Ruined, by Lynn Nottage. Some of Ms. Boothe's favorite audio books include The Darkest Child, by Delores Phillips, Magic City by Jewel Parker Rhodes, The Legend of Buddy Bush and it's sequel The Return of Buddy Bush by Shelia P. Moses and Orange Mint and Honey by Carleen Brice.
Staci arned her B.A. and M.A. in Theatre Arts from Cal State University, Los Angeles. She has worked on stage in several Los Angeles stage productions, is a former acting member of the Robey Theatre Company and has twice been nominated for NAACP Theatre Awards. Although Staci has also worked in independent film, television, and as a voiceover artist, her primary work has been works on stage in theatre and as a performance poet.

Imani Parks is best known for her starring role as Young Nala on the hit Broadway show, "The Lion King". She has also appeared on Broadway in shows such as "Wait Until Dark" starring Quentin Tarantino and Marisa Tomei, as well as the hit revival "Showboat". To date Imani has recorded over 20 audiobooks including Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles Autobiography "Courage To Soar", New York Time's 10 Best Fiction Books of 2018 "Gun Love", as well as "Monday's Not Coming", and "My Father's Words", for which she received the June and December 2018 audiofile Earphones award for both of them.
From the island of Jamaica, she worked her way to Florida, earning a Jazz Vocal Degree from the University of Miami. Snatched up by Disney World for her electric personality, spanning a range of 5 different shows under Equity Theater Contracts singing, acting, and dancing, she then traveled the world with Record Label Artists as a part of several opening acts on tour, all while sharpening her acting skills and evolving into an accomplished actor to date. Nicola has an impressive body of work including Network Television, films, commercials, and voice overs.
Donna Cooper is a working actor with years of experience. She has entertained troops overseas as a stand-up comic, been seen and heard in numerous commercials, sit-coms and dramas, along with films, short and full length. She started in NYC, spent over twenty years in LA and now she's back living on Long Island. An avid golfer and writer, Donna exercises and meditates daily.
