At the tender age of five, Tamar's first impersonation was of her mother gutting a fish, and she has been creating and performing characters ever since. Born in Israel and raised by Russian-speaking Latvian Jews, Tamar developed a knack for languages and accents at a very young age. With a BFA in Theatre from New York University and as a trained singer, Tamar has spent many years honing her vocal instrument. She enjoys the process greatly. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Tamar can be heard in audio books, voice overs, and singing at local jazz venues, as well as seen on stage and film.
